Rachel-McAdams.org is a joint effort between friends Mycah and Mikaela. We’re both long time fans of Rachel’s and consider her amongst our very favorite actresses and adore her to pieces for her all around humbleness, talent and charisma.

We used to run a website for Rachel for a few years starting back in 2005 (www.rachelmcadams-fan.com) but it was closed after time constraints.

Rachel-McAdams.org was originally going to be started by Mycah and Filip, back in 2008. But a lot happened in that year which prevented us from working on the site we so hoped for. Delays after delays, we ultimately couldn’t get it together in time for any of our deadlines. In November 2009, Filip finally decided that he wouldn’t have time for the site and handed his position over to Mikaela although he contributed a considerable amount to the site’s early stages.

Opened on Christmas Day – December 25, 2009 (and also the release of Sherlock Holmes!) Rachel-McAdams.org was finally available to the public!

Although only the news aspect and growing gallery of the website is currently viewable, we will be launching the full version of the site complete with more photos, extensive information on Rachel and her projects and more in the coming months. But for now bookmark us and keep up with all the latest happenings on Miss McAdams!

Our mission is to provide you with the latest on Rachel McAdams while remaining respectful of her privacy. Because of this we will not be posting any gossipy material or candids of Rachel in her daily life. We want to focus on her talents as an actress and hope you understand our decision!

I, Mycah discovered Rachel with 2002’s The Hot Chick. While I found her hilarious and gorgeous, equally holding her own humor with someone like the very funny Anna Faris, it wasn’t until the year 2004 that I really became a big fan of her’s. What with her projects The Notebook and Mean Girls. Already showing much potential for versatility I was instantly intrigued by her. Rachel’s later projects didn’t disappoint, The Family Stone and The Lucky Ones saw more fine performances and become instant favorites. While I was disappointed to see Rachel take such a long hiatus (at a point when she was getting offers left and right!) It only made me respect her more as an actress. After a long time wanting to revisit my own tribute for Rachel again, finally in 2009, with Mikaela, here we are! :)

I, Mikaela noticed Rachel for the first time in The Hot Chick and she was so amazing, but as Mycah said it wasn’t until 2004 I really fell in love with Rachel when I saw her in The Notebook and Mean Girls. She is such a talented actress and I love her humor and she is so beautiful. She just keep on impressing me with her work and her projects, like Wedding Crashers and The Lucky Ones. I really respect Rachel as a person, because she seems to be such a calm and nice person and she is were careful about her personal life, which I like very much. As Mycah said I am so glad we finally have made this tribute to Rachel, finally ;D
