Posted by: Mikaela Category: Movie News Tags: Rumors, Woody Allen | Rachel McAdams is in negotiations to star opposite Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard in Woody Allen’s next movie. As with most Allen movies, plot details are being kept under wraps, though the setting for the ensemble is France. The untitled project is scheduled to shoot during the summer. McAdams’ boarding comes on the heels of Allen’s latest movie, the London-set You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, being acquired by Sony Pictures Classics. The Canadian actress was recently in theaters with Sherlock Holmes, and will shoot an untitled Terrence Malick movie this year with Christian Bale and Javier Bardem. She next appears with Harrison Ford in the comedy Morning Glory, which Paramount releases October 28. |
Posted by: Mycah Category: Movie News Tags: Rumors, Terrence Malick | Deadline Hollywood reports that Terrence Malick has cast Christian Bale, Javier Bardem, Rachel McAdams and Olga Kurylenko in a new love story he’s written and will direct. No story details are known at this time. FilmNation Entertainment is behind the film, which starts shooting in this fall. Nicolas Gonda, Sarah Green and Bill Pohlad will produce. Malick’s previous films include: Badlands, Days of Heaven, The Thin Red Line and The New World. His latest The Tree of Life is due for release this year. If this turns out to be true it will be very exciting news! Badlands is one of my favorites and his other films are renowned for their stunning visuals and haunting performances. |
